The short version
Costa Notas is Ann and Frederik's personal notes about places on the western Costa del Sol. Use it as inspiration, not as a guarantee. We can be wrong. We are not tied to the places we write about. If something should not be on the site, tell us and we will fix it.
Who runs this
The site at www.costanotas.com is kept by Ann and Frederik from Estepona, Spain. Contact us through the contact form.
No affiliation
Names of businesses, brands, beaches, parks, towns and other places appear because we wrote about them. That does not mean those places endorse us, sponsor us or work with us. We do not take payment or commission for a listing. Any trademark remains with its owner.
No warranty
Content is offered as is, for general information. Tips, maps, GPS pins, opening hours, prices, safety notes and "last checked" dates can contain mistakes or go stale. You are responsible for checking anything that matters before you travel, book or rely on a tip. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for loss, damage, injury or disappointment arising from use of this site or from following advice on it.
Your use of the site
You may browse for personal, non-commercial use. Do not scrape the site aggressively, attempt to break security, misuse forms, or use the editor area unless we have given you an account. Do not use our content to pretend you wrote it, or to run a competing paid guide without asking.
User messages
If you send a tip or correction, you confirm you have the right to share it and that it is not unlawful. We may use corrections to update the site.
Copyright and complaints
Text and photos on Costa Notas are either ours, licensed to us, or used in good faith as part of a personal editorial guide. Infringing anyone's rights is not our intent. If you are a rights holder and believe something is wrong, incomplete or should be removed, write to us via the contact form with enough detail to find the page. We will review it and are prepared to correct, credit or take content down where appropriate.
Changes
We may change these terms or the site without notice. The date at the top of this page shows the latest update. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
