Bioparc Fuengirola - Fuengirola's visitor- and animal-friendly zoo - you won't find miserable animals running up and down shoebox cages, clinging to lonely branches or paddling around in sad puddles. Instead, as you stroll through this recreated tropical forest, lush with rivers and waterfalls, you'll see crocodiles basking on the sandy banks of the Nile, Sumatra tigers bathing next to Angkor Wat, lemurs playing around an ancient baobab tree and, if you're brave, bats flitting about in abandoned mines. There is a "Claro de Selva," where you can see birds and mammals living in their own natural habitat. There are two tours daily - morning and afternoon.
